The historic Weatherford Hotel has seen its share of hauntings over the years. From the lady in white dancing across the Zane Grey Ballroom, to the ill fated honeymoon couple who are now designed to stir up a commotion till the end of time.
The Orpheum theater’s marquee has long been a fixture of our quiet mountain town, but did you know it started it’s life as the Majestic theater before being lost in a snowstorm in 1915? The spirits are particularly active around the men’s bathroom, enter if you dare.
The Hotel Monte Vista was the second high end hotel to be built in downtown Flagstaff, and it hosted many movie stars during the 1940s who were filming westerns outside of town. John Wayne famously encountered the phantom bell boy, and a robbery gone wrong led to the spirit haunting the Monte Vista Lounge.
