“Steven was a kind tour guide and genuinely into the history and hauntings of Flagstaff. It was my fiancé and I’s first time in town so the tour gave us more insight into the area’s past. Despite some hecklers, Steven kept the tour enjoyable. There was unfortunately a medical emergency that had to stop the tour, but we don’t want Steven to worry about it. Health comes first! Thank you for giving us an experience to remember Steven.”

“The history and the guide experiences were pretty cool, but it would of been much cooler to have gone inside of some establishments that were described in the hauntings. The price could of been a bit less, only because we just walked and talked in front of the building. But if anyone wants to hear cool creepy ghosts and experiences, booked this tour. My hubby is from Flagstaff but hadn't heard the stories mentioned on the tour, so it was a fun, new lens to see the town through. Our group also caught some weird activity at the courthouse, which was kinda spooky - adding to the vibe of the story he was telling. Definitely would recommend if you're looking for a good night of walking and needing to hear some history and some folklore/mystery.”

“We took this tour with our teen kids while we were in town for the weekend. Revol was an entertaining and informative tour guide and he kept things interesting. Although we didn't "see" any spirits during the tour, I had an interesting experience of my own that evening. After our 3rd stop, my daughter told me she wasn't feeling well and needed water. We walked to our next destination on the tour and as we stopped outside of the hotel Monte Vista I broke away from the tour to find a bottle of water for her while my husband remained with the tour and my daughter. I tried 3 businesses (all closed), until I found a candy shop where I purchased a few bottles of water. When I retuned to the street corner where I'd left the tour they were gone. I tried texting and calling my husband's phone but despite having 4 bars the calls wouldn't go through. I tried pulling up his location but that wasn't working either. After about 3 minutes standing on the corner near the sporting goods store opposite the Monte Vista, a location popped up on my phone and I began walking toward it. It was taking me down the street (I believe to the east) past the front of the hotel, under a Cocktail sign, to a dark section of the street. Being that it was the weekend before Halloween there were several people out in costumes and many appeared to have been drinking. I passed a few of them and as I began walking away from the lights of the town, toward the dark my gut was telling me to turn around. I listened and did so and as I walked back in front of the Monte Vista, my husband's "location" on the phone changed and took me toward the rear parking lot of the Monte Vista. However, when I turned the of the corner of the building, there was no-one there. The location changed again and indicated toward the railroad tracks. I recalled Revol telling us that he would talk about the trains later during the tour so I thought maybe the group had headed that way. I passed through some dark alleys and some other intoxicated revelers and bars, and as I neared the tracks my gut again told me this was wrong and to turn around. I again listened because I didn't see any sign of the tour. As I walked back toward the place I'd last seen the tour, my husband's "location" changed again to the Monte Vista. I thought maybe they'd circled back but as I neared it I still didn't see any sign of the group. At that point I was ready to give up and head back to the parking lot where the tour began but I really didn't want to miss it. I said a little prayer and the "location" dot changed again to north of my location by a few blocks. I began walking that way and when I was a block away the "location" changed again back to the Monte Vista. I decided to ignore my phone and followed my gut instinct to continue walking north. Soon after I found my group just as Revol was finishing up a story about a local home where the children had been murdered. There were a few other stops and stories after that and I enjoyed the rest of the tour. I am planning to return one day and try the tour again (with well-hydrated kids) because I'd love to hear the stories. However, it was quite possible I had my own first-hand encounter that night, making the entire experience all the more haunting.”

I found this to be family friendly for families with teenage or older children and up! If you do go at night in May, don't forget your jackets and long pants, the wind makes it for a super cold adventure! Flagstaff has quite a bit to discuss within easy walking distance to City Hall. Definitely worth checking out, but make sure to dress warmly!! There's not as much walking to keep you warm as you'd think as everything is so close together.”

“If you decide to take this tour, make sure you are hydrated and in decent physical condition. The tour is only about a mile, and mostly flat. If you get winded walking to the mailbox, this might not be for you. If you like true crime or paranormal shows or podcasts, consider this tour the live action version. Lots of wonderful facts, paranormal stories and one in particular very gruesome true crime. It shook me so much, I now have articles and newspaper reports saved, so I can read more about it later. Michelle and Revel are both tour guides, and we were initially greeted by Michelle. They are both larger than life characters, and their auras are bright. It was a joy to meet them both. Revel is the one that ended up taking us on our tour, and he was entertaining and fun. I'm not sure about his background, but I wouldn't be surprised if being an actor was something he did in the past. If it's your first time visiting Flagstaff, put this on your radar.”
