The Original Key West Ghost Hunt - Ages 16 and up is a 90-minute equipment-led hunt from Key West Ghost Hunt, booking from $45 per person at our August 2, 2026 check, when it carried 4.6 from 110 Viator reviews. Original is the operator's own name for it, not our verdict. The inclusions name dowsing rods, EMF meters, a spirit board and more, plus a local guide, and the group is capped at 16. It is the only listing in the Key West set we track whose inclusions list physical ghost-hunting equipment, and at $45 it is the dearest of the six guided haunted listings that were bookable at our check. The minimum age needs care, because the two sources disagree: the operator's own product name says ages 16 and up, while the booking system's adult band starts at 17. We print both, and neither alone.

Who it suits
People who want to hold the kit and work a small group rather than listen for 90 minutes. It is also the accessible option at the top of the price range: listed wheelchair and stroller accessible, while the two deepest-reviewed haunted listings in the city, the Ghosts and Gravestones trolley at 1,363 reviews and the Ghost and Mysteries walk at 1,117, are both listed not accessible. Access does not track volume or format here, since the 606-review pub crawl is listed accessible too. Skip it for a broad Old Town history walk, and skip it if anyone in the party has heart problems or other serious medical conditions, whom the listing excludes.
On price, scope matters. The $45 is the top of the six guided haunted Key West listings that were bookable at our August 2, 2026 check; the $79 Sebago sunset sail is dearer and is not a ghost product, and the $137.50 private haunted walk was out of stock at the same check. On equipment, the claim we make is narrow: this is the only listing in the set whose inclusions list physical gear. A separate self-guided phone product carries EMF Reader in its own title, so it is not the only Key West listing that mentions an EMF meter. For the rest of the set, see our Key West page.
