Mountain Town Of Madness Adult Only Tour

Want to dig into the gruesome details behind Flagstaff's freaky tales? This adults-only tour aims to leave you shivering. Dive into the curiosities, corpses, and creepers that darken the historic downtown streets. You'll learn what brought TV's Dead Files to town as they investigated the underside of Flagstaff. Our gothic guides escort you through the mountain town's dark pathway of history and mystery. On this tour, due to the length of stories and number of stops, we will not be entering any historic haunts.

This is one of our own tours. Mountain Town of Madness is the 18-and-over version of our original Flagstaff ghost tour, covering the true-crime cases and after-dark history we leave off the family walk. That includes the 1988 trial in which a skin-walker defense prevailed and the tragic 1930s story of Marie Walkup, with stops at Crystal Magic, the Hotel Monte Vista and the Coconino County courthouse.

The tour runs 90 minutes over about one mile of downtown sidewalks, Friday and Saturday nights at 9 PM, meeting at Wheeler Park, 212 W Aspen Ave. Tickets are $39 for adults and $35 for students, and every guest must be 18 or over.
