The children’s tour is geared towards ages 5-12, but all are welcome -as long as there is one adult per reservation. Out of an overabundance of safety and caution, we require at least one adult present on the reservation who assumes responsibility for the children throughout the duration of the tour.
Today’s Flagstaff is a modern city, with theatres, schools, parks, and much more. But centuries ago— before the railroad and before the lumber mills—Flagstaff was a rootin’ tootin’ cowboy town. Gun fights, saloons, and horse thieves peppered the streets and some say the ghosts have never left. This tour will contain history but will leave out some of the mature-themed stories from our Downtown Flagstaff Haunted History Tour. We encourage children to dress up for this fun and spooky experience!
About This Guide Tour
Visit spine-chilling spots like the Flagstaff Public Library, where the stacks are haunted by the murderous maintenance man, as well as the Orpheum Theatre whose balconies are wandered by the specter of the Woman In White. Our haunted history tours will take you to these haunted hangouts and other local spooky spots as we brave the evening and let the spirits of Northern Arizona move us!
Additional Information
The ghost tour is approximately 1 mile on the sidewalks and streets of downtown Flagstaff. The pace is moderate at times with 7 to 8 stops at historic “haunts” and lasts about 75 minutes.

What To Expect on Your Guided Tour
When the day and time have arrived you’ll meet your group at the proper location. We ask our guests to arrive five to ten minutes early so your guide has time to greet your party and check you in. The guide will have the night’s itinerary at hand so your job is to show up in comfortable clothes and walking shoes and be prepared for whatever pops up during the tour. Several of our guests have captured orbs on phone cameras so feel free to snap away. Freaky Tours would love it if you share any images you capture and we’re working on a website where images and experiences can be shared.

I did the Halloween ghost tour of Flagstaff with a bunch of friends and wow was it fun. Dre's stories not only where interesting they also had a lot of humor and theatrics to it. As someone who has lived here for nearly a decade I also learned a ton about local history and events. I would, and have, recommended this for others and will definitely go and do another tour in the future.

Excellent tour with great stories. Dre does a wonderful job narrating and setting up the story, while dealing with the normal city noise behind him expertly. Flagstaff has quite a bit to discuss within easy walking distance to City Hall. Definitely worth checking out, but make sure to dress warmly!! There's not as much walking to keep you warm as you'd think as everything is so close together.

Flagstaff Freaky Foottours was one of the highlights of my trip to Northern Arizona. Though I am not normally into "scary stories" and was not sure what to expect, it was honestly wonderful! Yes, they were ghost stories, but the tour also presented a new side of Flagstaff history that I would have otherwise never heard about. It was honestly fascinating!
